why doesn’t Disney make these kinds of girls anymore

But … they kinda do? Maybe not with Megara’s attitude (which, yes, is amazing and pure love), but with her resolve, yeah. Actually … I think all of them are like that. In their own ways, at least.

Yeah, I don’t see how Disney isn’t still making strong female characters. Tiana and Rapunzel are both strong, smart women who have their own agency and development. 

Dear Meg fans. She’s my favorite Disney lady, but the way some of you keep harshing on the newer gals puts a bad taste in my mouth. Keep your hate out of my Disney squee, okay? Don’t give Meg a bad name due to your bad attitude. Disney still makes spunky girls. Just because they aren’t Meg doesn’t mean they aren’t awesome. (and let’s face it, it would suck if all the girls were cookie-cutter molds of each other).
