I’m getting tired of all the hate and disdain directed at these ladies. Despite the opinions otherwise, they are good role models. Who wouldn’t want a role model that’s kind, brave, self-sacrificing, loving, courageous, would rather marry for love than money or popularity, intelligent, inquisitive, hard working, and caring not only to friends and family, but animals as well? They all have strong agency and drive, despite some of them living or being animated in time periods where that wasn’t as commonly depicted in women. Maybe it’s just me, but those sound like good things to be.

Meeting the princesses at breakfast.

Character chatter: this is going to be a space I devote to little stories about conversations with the characters that I found to be especially memorable.

For this situation, it goes to talking books with Belle. Which I’m sure many do, but it’s me and books and Belle, so getting her to talk about how she now wants to read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes series thanks to my comments makes me happy.
