Often mistaken for a jellyfish, the Portuguese man-of-war is actually made up of a colony of organisms working together. Its tentacles can extend 165 feet (50 meters) below the surface, although 30 feet (10 meters) is more the average.

mabelmoments:

Hard-working ants lift huge chilli peppers over their heads as they march along on their hind legs towards their nest. The scene was captured by keen photographer Yahya Taufikurrahman, 21, at his home in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.

 Animals are freaking amazing *.*

pinkmagpie:

I came back upstairs with my cup for tea, and found Pan hanging upside down the cage lid, for a big boy he does it well! Of course then the next move was to get onto the rope that I’ve hung up and I decided to treat him to a mealworm (it’s like rodent crack!) which he proceeded to snatch from me and balance quite happily while I fed him more when he ran out.
Of course the problem was getting off the rope which resulted a belly flop into the hanging coconut. Smooth.
Oh to be so active at this time in the morning!

Ahhh, someone else has sweet soft-furred rats! So cute!
